The report-back and elective Conference of the Black and Azov Seas Ports Association (BASPA) was held on 10, June, 2008, in Illichivsk (Ukraine).
Representatives of ports of Bulgaria, Georgia, Russia, Romania and Ukraine have attended the conference.
G.P. Skvortsov, General Director of the Port of Illichivsk, the First Vice-President of the Black and Azov Seas Ports Association (BASPA) has opened the Conference.
Founder of the BASPA, president of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jemal Inaishvili addressed the participants of the conference.
BASPA leadership delivered a report on the conference regarding carried out activities during 2006-2008, they have discussed and adopted the association’s working plan for 2008-2009.
Jemal Inaishvili has been elected as Honorary president BASPA as a founder of Association and G.P. Skvortsov, General Director of the Port of Illichivsk has been elected as the President of BASPA.
