In order to respond quickly to the effects of the epidemic caused by pandemic coronavirus infection (COVID-19) declared by the World Health Organization and to alleviate additional barriers for the business sector, an amendment has been made to the Technical Regulations On the Approval of the Technical Regulation -" On non-food products of animal origin (including animal waste) and secondary products, not intended for human consumption, health and the rules of recognition of the business operator related to this activity" in the Resolution №605 of the Government of Georgia of December 29, 2017. The amendment suspends Article 25 of the resolution until October 1, 2020. As a result, border controls on compliance with the requirements of the requirements for some non-commercial products will be carried out from 1 October 2020, instead of 1 April 2020.
