mepa.gov.geThe program provides subsidies for the cost of agricultural goods and plowing services. In order to receive the subsidy provided by the program, individuals and legal entities need to own agricultural land registered in the public register. The amount of the subsidy for 1 hectare of land was set at 200 GEL (200 points accrued on the agro-card).
From 0.25 ha to 1.25 ha, the landowner will be able to use the points accrued on the card to purchase the following agricultural goods:
• Fertilizers and chemical / biological plant protection products
• Chemical / biological plant care products
• Seed and planting materials
Owners of agricultural land from 1.25 ha to 10 ha will be able to use the points accrued on the card for the purchase of the above-mentioned agricultural goods, as well as agro-technical (plowing) works on agricultural land.
The implementation of the program started on May 20, 2020.
Terms of use of the program:
Registered owners of agricultural land and persons with a total of not less than 0.25 ha and not more than 10 ha (except for pasture category) and persons who own not less than 0.25 ha and not more than 10 ha of land registered in one cadastral code (except for Pasture category) can participate in the program.
The subsidy is 200 GEL per 1 ha (200 points accrued on the bar), 2,000 GEL per 10 ha.
If the beneficiary owns a total of not less than 0.25 ha and not more than 10 ha of land plot (s), the subsidy amount is set at GEL 200 - respectively, with 200 points accrued on the card in proportion to 1 ha of land plot, and / or if the beneficiary owns one cadastral code25 Ha and not more than 10 ha of land plot (s), the amount of subsidy is determined by 200 GEL for each registered land plot in each co-ownership - respectively, by 200 points accrued on the card by proportional calculation per 1 ha of land plot.
