Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry joins global campaign against gender-based violence
November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The global campaign against gender-based violence started today and will last for two weeks.
In order to eradicate this problem, the whole world is uniting once again.
The Chamber of Commerce is trying to take some steps and promote a non-violent environment both inside and outside the organization.
Private sector has a key role in tackling gender-based violence in the world of work. This is why the Chamber calls for private companies to join the global campaign and make their contribution to women’s empowerment and the elimination of gender-based violence.
The Chamber of Commerce became a signatory of Women's Empowerment Principles in 2019.
