The President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce, Giorgi Pertaia participated in the online business seminar "Georgia-Estonian Cooperation: Investments and Trade Opportunities".
Giorgi Pertaia introduced the investment environment of the country to foreign businessmen and noted that Estonians are active in doing business in Georgia and have been investing for years.
"There are very good projects in the direction of hydropower plants and also in terms of development. We want to attract more investors and we are actively working on that. This time, negotiations are underway with several businesses to invest in agriculture as well. Despite the pandemic, investors are not losing interest and still want to invest in Georgia," said Giorgi Pertaia.
During the meeting, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and the director of the agency "Enterprise Georgia", Mikheil Khidureli presented a new investment program of the government to potential investors and introduced tax benefits for individuals with the status of international companies.
